My wife is new tho craft and has settled on tripels as her favorite style. I like introducing her to the Trappists and other world-class tripels, but I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a go-to tripel with a more moderate price point that works for casual consumption. I need to find a six or four-pack format really. Bombbers are fine for tasting new stuff and I will share them with her, but normally she is one-and-done and my tastes don't run to triples much. La Fin Du Monde is probably what I will end up with. It's no slouch, but it really does not carry that rich malty thing she's come to expect from the Belgians. New Holland is out, that stuff just tastes off to me and she find it to be uninteresting. I wish Ommegang Tripel Perfection was year round and came in 12 oz. Oh well...
