Stout, but Sierra Nevada Celebration would make me think thrice!

Founder's Porter is like a missing link between port / stout, not unlike an 'extra IPA ...

Wouldn't say I have a go-to winter style, but it feels like there have a been a lot of Porters. Largely because I've come across a lot of Peanut Butter Chocolate Porters. Also, it seems like Imperial Milk Stouts have popped up a lot.

One of our local shops has a great selection of singles, so I was able to try many more "holiday" or "winter" beers than I normally would have been. Also, Troegs has brewed a few small batches that I've been able to try(Double Blizzard DIPA, Perpetual Darkness Barleywine Ale, Blood Orange Tangerine Shabang, 2 scratch hazy pale ales), in addition to their seasonal Mad Elf and Blizzard of Hops IPA. I also enjoyed their seasonal cranberry blood orange tart, and their barrel aged Wild Elf and Mortal Cherry, but they're both too pricey to have too often.

i go imperial stout / baltic porter in the winter. I love getting my hands on dark lagers and ales this time of year but I usually wish those would come out in the fall, I prefer them over October fests.

I tend to drink all styles all year, but typically my stout/imperial stout consumption increases in the colder months.
