Going Bulk

    Without being home to look at the exact model number and whatnot, I can't find the exact one, but I use something like this guy for storing my bulk grains:

    It was only about $18 I think from my local hardware store that also happens to sell brewing equipment/ingredients, and fits an entire 50lb sack without any trouble. For specialty grains that I don't need to keep as much of on hand, I use empty containers that used to hold protein powder, because I like to try to work out occasionally to try and offset some of the damage I do to myself (waistline) by drinking beer. I suppose you could use any large reuseable plastic container, but mine are something like this:

    It holds about 3 lbs uncrushed grain if I remember correctly. I don't have much in any of them right now since I've only brewed once this year. I need to plan out a few brew sessions, buy a few things, and get back in the swing of it!
