Hi yall. I am from PA, but I'm going down to FL for a few weeks. Is there any breweries that distribute in FL but, not in PA?

what is their version of lionhead or genny cream ale?

I'm also looking local. I shall be in the miami/Ft/ lauradale area.

    thanks

I would be certain that any local breweries that you might be near by during your stay do not distribute in PA.
I'm not familiar with those two brews you mentioned, so I can't help with that.

I dont know if you just saw last week's Brewdog episode on Miami (south Florida really) but they had some good recommendations. Not knowing your tastes, I would highly suggest (from south/miami to north/boca/palm beach area):

    - Lokal (Coconut Grove)
    - Local Craft (Coral Gables)
    - J Wakefield (Wynwood Arts district/Downtown Miami)
    - Riverside Market (Ft. Lauderdale)
    - Tap 42 (Ft. Lauderdale)
    - Laserwolf (Ft. Lauderdale)
    - Funky Buddha (Oakland Park brewery or Boca Raton lounge)
    - Coffee District (Delray Beach)
    - Due South (Boynton Beach)

As for breweries, hit J Wakefield, Funky Buddha and Due South. I can't vouch for Wynwood, MIA or Lauderale as I haven't been yet.

As far as "local" bottles to take home which do not distribute in PA.. well almost all of the ones you can find locally. Cigar City, Funky Buddha, Due South (cans).

I don't know if they distribute that far south but Bold City (Jacksonville) Killer Whale Cream Ale -- available in cans -- is at least the same style as Gennys.
