Heading down to Florida and will be passing through Memphis. If you were gonna hit just one beer store with the best selection which one would it be? Looking more for beers brewed in the South/Southeast states that we can't get in MN. We don't get much up here from that area in general.

If you are just passing through and want to just slip in somewhere and out you can hit up Joe's , they will have all of the stuff over 6% and are close to the interstate , while there though just jot over a couple blocks to the Cash Saver grocery store on Madison , they will have everything under 6%

What ubenumber2 said, both those stores are really close to each other.
Southern beers to get at Joes
    Yazoo Sue
    Lazy Magnolia Timberbeast

    at Cash Saver
    Wiseacre Ananda & Tiny Bomb
Yazoo Sly Rye & Hop Project
    Lazy Magnolia Southern Hops'pitality
skip Ghost River golden ale nothing too exciting

Memphis Made is draft only, so is High Cotton

Theres a growler shop inside Cash Saver with other local stuff but if you want to try a flight of local beers go to the Growler on Cooper or Flying Saucer

other than that hit up Wiseacre tap room if you're in town thurs-sat, and try one of the 4 or 5 brews on tap

Sounds like a good start. Is anything from Arkansas, Alabama, South Caroline, North Carolina, or Virginia distributed at any of these stores. I love me some Yazoo Sue. Can't wait to get that in my mouth. I want to tick as many states as I can while I'm down there.

The growler shop in Cash Saver has Blue Pants from Alabama on tap, but I'm not sure if the bottles have made it to the area. Diamond Bear is an Arkansas brewery available around here, but I can't tell you for sure who has it. Wish I could be more help, but those are at least a couple of beers to keep an eye out for if you're looking for regional stuff.

I'm not sure Cash Saver is selling Wiseacre anymore or not , the brewery had an issue with them selling the beer so cheap , last time I was in all they had was a little bit of Tiny Bomb left but they may have worked it out since then

Is there anything across the river in Arkansas that you can't get in TN?

Today the madison growler shop announced they got a North Carolina brewery called Foothills on tap with a beer called Strawberry Ale, Ive never seen a NC beer this far west into Tennessee. You can get Blue Pants waders of grain and workman in bottles at Cash Saver. I think Diamond Bear and Crown Valley are there as well. If you're on your way down south you can stop in Joe's Craft in Oxford and find AL (Straight to Ale, Back Forty) MS (Yalobusha, Oxford Brewing) No other Georgias Carolinas or Virginias beers in the Midsouth as of yet. Sweetwater soon..

More news - Duck Rabbit brown ale also on tap at Madison Growler, that makes two NC breweries in Memphis. I'm going to go pick some up right now
