Not too familiar with the beer scene, any suggestions for breweries to look for or places to check out? I've heard Burger Bar in Mandalay Bay and the Yard House a bit off the strip.

if you still check this though, in the back of the four queens on freemont street, chicago brewing co has a brewpub.

and the flamingo has their own beer, not great but better than the macros imo.

The Pub at Monte Carlo has a good selection. Also, there are several Sin City Brewing Co. pubs with decent beer.

Recommend Burger Bar in MB, they have Kobe beef burgers. I heard they feed the cows kobe beef as well.

The Freakin' Frog is the best place in Vegas IMO. You'll need to take a cab there from the stop, but it is not far.

There is a fairly new place in the Venetian called Public House. It is pretty expensive even by Vegas standards, but they have some of the best beer on the strip. When I was there last week, they had on draft Sculpin, Bam Biere, some rarer Stones, and other nice options. They had several other bottles worth checking out. I had a couple of Jolly Pumpkin.

Get off the strip to Tenaya Creek Brewing and be sure to check Big Dog's, which has a couple of their own locations and are available elsewhere. Skip the Ellis Island Brewery, although the people watching there is entertaining.

When I was there I had a lot of luck at the Whole Foods at the start of the strip. Is that even the strip? You'll have to cab it or take a bus (or drive I guess). Lots of local brews--and Fantome! This was in February but I saw some goodies from the Bruery too. Four Calling Birds, anyone?
