Calling all my OH beeradvocate peeps looking for any craft beer store recommendations within a reasonable distance. Thanks for the help!

Not that familiar with Wilmington but Belmont Party Supply in Dayton is excellent and appears to be about 45 minutes from Wilmington

Not sure about the city of Wilmington itself, but there is Speed Zone Carry Out in Xenia, which is about 15 minutes north. They seem to get a decent selection. They have a Facebook page you can check out. However, if you want really good places, you will need to head toward Dayton. As mentioned, Belmont is a must for anyone remotely close to the area. It will be totally worth the 45 minute drive. Arrow Wine is also a good option. Slightly east of Dayton (aka a little closer to you), is Brunings, Rob's Beer Barn, Hall's Carry Out, or Kroger's.

If you want to go south into Mason check out Craft Pointe and/or Discount Drug Mart in Mason. They are on beermenus.com if you want to look at their stock before going.

So, after mentioning the place in Xenia as a somewhat close option, I decided to visit. It has a lot of local Ohio stuff, but not a bunch to choose from overall. Definitely more of a convenient store than bottle shop. There were a few nice things, but I would keep driving to Dayton. Cheers!

You're also about 45 minutes from Jungle Jim's.

I can vouch for Belmont Party Supply in Dayton. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing a case of Sunday Morning Stout from there when I had the chance

Wherever you go keep an eye out for White Rajah and Black Rajah from The Brew Kettle. It's pretty easy to get in the area and is a great beer. I have in-laws that live close to where you will be and that is one I always seek out when in town.

Great Lakes Eye of the Tiger is out now and should be plentiful in the area. Definitely worth a purchase if you like Rye IPAs.

Also there's lots of good beers being made in the Cincinnati/Dayton area to sample. And Jackie O's has several of its regular lineup in cans too.

You are close enough to make the trip south to Jungle Jim's and/or the Party Source if you have time. Promise they are worth it.
