Any other Mid-Atlantic'ers going to EBF?

I'll be attending Session #3 Saturday night.

I'm stopping by Trillium and Harpoon during the day.

    Should be fun!

Would def like to meet up if anyone is about.

Talked about this in another thread haha, but I'll be at session 2. Will most likely try to get to trillium before if I can, then will be at the bruery event at row 34 between sessions, and probably out and about later on. would love to grab beers with some other BAs. Highly suggest the row 34 event in between sessions by the way-looks pretty awesome. Oysters and oude tart with cherries sounds pretty great to me.

Yeah I'm going to go to Trillium as soon as I arrive in town and get that out of the way since you can't drink there.

I just saw this. I'm sure it'll sell out with all the beer nerds in town, but would be nice to get a bottle:

Jack's Abbey is on the way in, and a great place. Might be 10 minutes off of the Mass Pike. Full pours, and a ton of stuff in bottles.

Yeah I wish I had more time in the area. If I had a car, I would go up to Smuttynose too. But I'm only going to be in Boston for one night. Taking Amtrak in the morning and getting there around 11:30 AM Saturday. Then leaving 3 pm Sunday.

I'll be going to Session 2.

I'm hoping to hit up Tree House and Trillium on the way up on Friday.

I'm pretty sure the Trillium event on Saturday won't be reasonable. Thousands upon thousands of beer nerds hitting Boston that weekend, and Trillium is right by the convention center. I wouldn't be surprised if the line started at 6-7:00AM.

I will be up there for session 2 as well. Hoping to actually not completely pass out after the event this time. I think not being able to wait in line over and over again for mornin delight this time around will help a little...I hope.

Attending session 1. My first EBF and I'm really excited. Can anyone who's been tell me what to expect? Is it chaotic? Long waits for samples? Do they give one beer at a time then you get back in line?

    Cheers!

Depends one what brewery? Last year, Toppling Goliath and Funky Buddha had the longest lines. Other breweries you could just walk right up and sample as much as you'd like. My advice is hit up all the sought after breweries first, because the time goes by pretty quick.

    I'll be at Friday session.

I'll be at session #3 too. I'm driving up that day so I doubt I'll get to hit up any other breweries. Maybe hit Night Shift brewing on Sunday? Since they're like the only brewery open on Sunday in Boston.

My EBF plans are to hit up any brewery that is pouring out of bottles first, they always run out the fastest. Then just make my rounds. I don't hit up any of the "big" breweries until the end when the line dies down, cuz they always have plenty.

Going to the Saturday afternoon session and planned on hitting trillium up after the fest but after seeing their "special" hours for their anniversary and assuming it'll be a mad house now I have to go prior to the fest. Either way still looking forward to EBF!

After having last snow a few times I decided Last Buffalo in the Park will be stop #1. depending on how early i get there in line though will try to hit treehouse/rare barrel/jacks abby/jackie o's in some order that will probably be determined by how silly the lines are at any given time. Prob will miss out on a couple of those though since TG dropped and the lines will now be frustratingly long elsewhere. Hopefully people flock to the CBS since i've had a few pours this year
