Sure, what you looking for, I can get plenty of Pliny, or other RRBC sours like temptation, salvation or damnation. Drakes Jolly Rodger this yeas is very tasty, Imperial coffee stout with blue bottle (Don't know if they are in NYC or not), I'm also a Rare Barrel member, let me know?

I don't currently have any TH bottles for trade...sorry for the confusion. The couple bottles I do have are for consumption. But maybe post in the IP trade forum? Rare Barrel makes some amazing beers.

I was researching a crawl that included Sixpoint, maybe 5-6 yes ago. I recall there was a bar that was virtually attached to the brewery. Had all the beers....obviously very fresh.

I'd there still such a thing?

Wasn't a slamdunk by any means, as Sixpoint is tough to get to by public transportation...but it was tempting

You would make some people happy if you came here with RR stuff for in person trades.

The bar attached to Sixpoint, Rocky Sullivan's, does not serve a single Sixpoint beer. They have Barrier and Singlecut but no Sixpoint ever. I made the mistake of going to Sixpoint and learning they weren't open and assumed the bar would have it. Wrong. The bartender said there was some died between Sixpoint and the bar or something. I have no idea. Don't waste time going all the way to Red Hook unless you want to go to Ikea or red hook winery.

Other Half is pretty close to here though which you absolutely should go to. Not sure if anyone mentioned The Ginger Man yet but that is an absolute must while in the city. If you go to Blind Tiger (you should) Carmine street beer shop is a few blocks away, they have a good bottle selection.

I have the ginger man and blind tiger on my list, I had a friend recommend both of those to me. The other half is a must at this point

Make sure you try some of Third Rail's offerings (especially Bodega, which I believe a new batch just came out and is making its way around the city). @LarryK can point you in the right direction for locations.

Thanks Brian! You are absolutely right that the latest batch of our Bodega American Pale Ale is currently making its way around the city. @Wesasmith -- if you like hoppy pales, I'd highly recommend seeking it out. While this list will likely change by the time you get to NYC next week, your best bet is to consult Beer Menus for an up-to-date list who has what on tap:

Beer Menus | Bodega American Pale Ale

The closest bar to SoHo on that list that currently has Bodega on tap is Arts & Crafts Beer Parlor, on 8th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.

And our Field 2 Farmhouse Ale is also on tap across NYC.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions or need any additional information.

Cheers and have a great trip to NYC!

    Thanks Larry,
I love hoppy pale ales, I also saw the Pony bar currently has Bodega on tap as well. ill make sure to look it up when I'm in town.
As for CA, if you ever find yourself in the bay area make sure to check out Cellermaker and Faction, they are making some of the best hoppy pale ales around.

Awesome! Yeah Pony tapped it last night. In the humblest way possible I will say that it tends to move pretty quickly over there, and may be gone by next week, but definitely worth keeping an eye on!

Have heard great things about Cellarmaker and am keeping my fingers crossed on a trip out to SF at some point this year. If so, they and Faction will definitely be at the top of my list. Thanks for the heads-up!
