...any good bottle shops in the area?

Brewtopia in Keene is your best bet for bottles in the Swanzey area.
Brattleboro VT is probably the next closest place that you will find a good selection of bottles.

And Elm City is worth a visit. Don't bother going to Brattleboro unless you actually want to go for a reason. Brewtopia is pretty good, as is Elm City.

Went to Brewtopia. Nice selection! Picked up some stuff I couldn't get in PA. Thanks for the heads up!

Swanzey, it's gotta be family, because there is nothing else there.

Depending where you are coming from, Ryan & Casey in Greenfield, MA is tops in that region.

Clearly you're forgetting the Potash Bowl in Swanzey! I'm assuming the OP was in the area for family or something similar, but while it's certainly not a beer destination, the Monadnock region really is a beautiful place dotted with some of my favorite small towns in New Hampshire. I'd love to see some more beer bars (and maybe even some more breweries--a brewpub in Peterborough would be great), but there are between Elm City, Harlow's, Brewtopia and some other spots, there are enough places to have a good beer in the area, even though I wouldn't go there strictly for the beer.

I know of five small nano (whats smaller than that?) breweries that are starting up around Keene. One less than a mile from my house in Swanzey.

I hope Henniker isn't one of them.
