Going to Tampa on Tuesday

    I'll be there for 10 days. My cousin already got me a bottle of Marshall Zhukov and I think I know a spot that may have some Moat Water.

    I'm definitely hitting up Cigar City for some White Oak, possibly some BA Big Sound if any is left, and maybe another sixer of Jai Alai since it's canned now.

    What else should I get? Where should I go? I am not looking for stuff on draft. Just looking for stuff I can get in bottles to bring back home to Georgia. I'll be in the Valrico/Brandon area.

    I've tried Jai Alai, Maduro, Maduro Expresso, Jose Marti, Tocobaga, Winter Warmer, Humidor IPA, Bolita, and Ballast Point Victory at Sea, Sculpin, Big Eye IPA, Sea Monster.

    I would try Saint Somewhere but I'm not huge on Saisons.

    I saw that Bear Republic is on seekabrew for Florida. Will I be able to find bottles? I've never had anything from them.

    What else should I get?

    They have plenty if big sound left and the jai alai I picked up today was canned 12-17!! Super fresh. I would check whole foods right by there. I stopped in today and they had bear republic for 4.99 a bomber and still had Zhukov for 11.99 a bomber. If u but 6 bombers u get 20% off which is a great value. Total wine is there as well with wake n bake just hitting. Hope this helps.

    Nice. I've been to the Whole Foods and Total Wine right beside there. Any other good shops that will have a different selection nearby?

    Which Bear Republic beers did they have?

    I can get Wake n Bake in Georgia.

    Luekens would be the other big bottle shop I'd recommend.

    I live in the Brandon/Valrico area, and Winthrop Liquors on Bloomingdale/Providence should have the full range of Bear Republic bottles available in the area - bombers of Racer 5, Hop Rod Rye, and Red Rocket. Hit up Kingdom Liquors on Causeway/Providence while you're in the area.

    White Oak all gone down in Sarasota/Bradenton. Brewery out as well, but it's still on tap.

    Pegs Cantina in Gulfport is highly recommended:slight_smile:.

    Good brews and great food if you like Tex-Mex

    No, they don't have bottles. Their draft beers are very nice! Growlers of some of the beers though.

    Seventh Sun still had some of their Brett Saision Extreme (batch 2) in bottles as of Friday, and it is awesome. Really is worth the trip there, great atmosphere and great beers.

    I'm getting everything tomorrow but I did see a 6 pack of Sculpin today at ABC Liquor and got excited

    Then I saw best by 10/16/12...
