    Hello all,
I recently acquired what I believe to be a "Golden Gate" style keg. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. My preference would be to use it like a firkin cask because it has a spot on the bottom for tapping and a side bung for cleaning and filling.
    My questions:
Does anyone have experience with these? What type of tap do I need? Can I remove all of the existing fittings and purchase something that will fit in the holes (spigot, air inlet, etc...)?
Basically, what do I need to do to convert this to a usable firkin style cask?
My other option would be to convert it to a fermenter, but I really don't need any more of those.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot, but I really need help on filling and serving from this keg. Plus, I will be filling it with homebrew. So, it just didn't really feel like a bar related topic.

    Thanks.
