    Watching him and Tiger, you just had to feel bad for them. When Tiger duffed his shot on 18 and was laughed at, I felt bad for the guy.

    Best part was in his interview, he still had a sense of humor to say "at least I still beat Ricky"

    That threesome was a trainwreck yesterday. Made me feel good about my game watching it. But for the first time in my life, I too felt bad for Tiger. Golf does miss the Tiger in the hunt element of him being in contention in a major. It will be exciting if he can right the ship and square off with Mcilroy or Spieth in some future major. Right now, that sure doesn't look very likely. I think it's far more likely he never wins another major vs. making a run at Nicklaus record.

    I was thinking the same thing...I can duff shots, can I play in the Open. I was surprised that 70 was par there too.

    It will be interesting to see how the USGA sets up the course today with the lower scores of yesterday. This course looks like they could make it much harder pin placement wise.

    I'm not sure if it was better in person, but i could not tell where the greens, rough and fairway were.

    It all looked the same

    Yeah. It looked surprisingly brown for the PNW. Those are also the most vicious sand traps I've ever seen. And they're everywhere.

    That 18th hole is a bitch. I could easily see someone coughing up the lead on Sunday with a double bogey on 18.
