Golf BIF (The Open......the British variety)

Golfs third major is rapidly approaching, and this is the part three follow up to the Masters and US Open bottle pools I put together with some slight changes in the past formats......

This will NOT be first come, first served like the original Masters pool. The other "major" change is that we will all draft two golfers instead of just one like the US Open pool in a snake style format. The ante will be the same, if you want in please post what bottle you are putting up here in this thread. Your ante needs to be a bottle that would trade roughly the equivalent of a CCB Hunaphu. For anyone not familiar with Huna, it's a one day, brewery only release (BA rated 100) that sells for $20. If you look at the prior two pool links above , you can see what others have put up as past entries. The bottle you put up is your only requirement for entry, however I highly encourage some local "extras" as part of your ante.

I will keep this open for entrants through the Monday of the Open (July 13th) and after we have our field of entrants will use a random draft generator to determine what order we will draft the golfers in on Tuesday. Each participant will select two (2) golfers in a "snake" style type draft, once selected that golfer is no longer available (example, if we have 12 participants we draft in order the first twelve golfers down to position 12. Position 12 would also get the first pick in the second round, working our way back up to position 1 (who would have the last overall draft pick). The winners will be calculated by how much total prize money your two golfers earn for the event combined.

Once we have the number of participants that are participating in the draft, the bottle payout will be determined, likely top 2-3 places will pay out and will "bottle draft" after the Open. Sorry noobs, this one is only for BAs with a solid established trade/BIF history. If you're lucky enough to win, you can draft your own bottle provided it's available when your turn to "bottle draft" comes up if you don't want to ship. Other than that, everybody ships.

For the record, I'm in and putting up a CCB Hunaphu. Looking forward to another great major.

I'm not up on it, but the profile looks tasty. Cool by me if there's no objections from the peanut gallery!

 

Sounds cool, but my concern is I really haven't been up on trade " values" of late. Most of my trading has primarily been with guys I trade regularly with, and it's usually me sending them recent CCB, Cycle, and other central FL stuff, and them doing likewise with their distribution without a prearranged trade. I'm probably not the best judge of trade equity. Probably best to post antes here for public consumption, and if anyone feels that the ante somebody puts up is not "up to snuff" please voice your concerns.
