Wander into west Hartford and hit up Harvest Wine, Max Beverage or the Wise Old Dog. All are solid, though, other than NEBCO, not sure what you will find here that you can't get in MA.
Capaco is the closest liquor store. Not sure of the quality of there craft brew selection. Harvest is good and is only in West Hartford so you could check that out. Back east brewing is in Bloomfield, their porter is legit, free samples, and they sell cans out of the brewery I believe.
There's no need to stop at Capaco in Bloomfield. As other's have stated, your best bets are over in West Hartford.
