Good beer in Lincolnton NC?

haven't been to that small town in many years. but when I was there, it was slim pickings. I recommend driving to Hickory to OHB.

 

I haven't heard of anything. Might want to reach out to the Lincolnton Homebrewers Club, though.

 

I live in Lincolnton. Not muh going on. Homesteads restaurant has a pretty good selection from what I've heard, but I've yet to go and see for myself. I'd drive to Hickory like someone else said.

 

There isn't much in town. Homestead is the best place. I would suggest OHB in Hickory, String Beans in Belmont (heard good things), T-Mac and Duckworth in Huntersville, Duckworth in Mooresville. Heard Dallas is supposed to be getting a Brewery, but don't know any details.

 

Dallas is getting a brewery. It's Ole Dallas Brewery. Right now they're just pouring their beers as homebrewers at festivals since they don't have all their licenses yet. I spoke with a guy (I'm assuming the owner) about when they'd bottle or can their stuff and trying to bring it into my store since we're right down the road.

Edited to add: it's right off of Dallas-Cherryville Hwy going toward Cherryville.

 

What store is this?? Always looking for good beer places around the area.

 

Haha, Walgreens. We dont carry anything special, but probably more craft than you'd find at the other Walgreens in the area.
