My fiancee is going to Hawaii, more specifically Oahu and even more specifically around Hickman airforce base, is there anywhere she should look for good beer for me? Appreciate the help!

Tamura's Fine and Liquors and Swam are nearby Hickam. Their websites are tamurasfinewine.com and swamwine.com. Not sure what you're looking for, but as far as I know those are pretty good places near Hickam. Hope that helps.

Liquor Collection @ Ward is usually ok, but pricey. And right across the street is Real Gastropub, which just so happens to be the best spot on the island for craft beer.

My wife and I were in Waikiki a few weeks ago. The ABC Store in our hotel had several offerings from Ballast Point (six packs) and Coronado (bombers). It felt strange to fly 2,500 miles and buy a bottle of beer that was brewed 20 miles from my house. This is not necessarily useful, but I found it amusing.

This sounds like you're looking for beers to bring back, in which case the answer is no, sadly. Your only real option for something unique would be a growler from Kona Brewery. Some of their small batch offerings are excellent, although I'm not certain what their policy is on filling growlers of limited offerings.

When I was there two years ago, I was very disappointed with the selection of beers. Made up for it with Maitai's
