What's the house ale like? It's available in bottles in some bars here in Toronto.

Penn Station in New York City.
In the lower level there are now multiple vendors that have a dozen or more taps, selling some pretty good drafts in "to go" cups for thirsty (and discerning) commuters to enjoy on the train ride home.
Gone are the days when the choice was limited to bottles of Bud, Coors, and Heineken.

Far better than the tops of three heads you would expect to find in a cooler abandoned along a highway.

The House Ale is very good and consistently so but it is actually an old school beer and often seen as 'Scotch Ale' though its debatable at best whether that was ever the intention when first brewed in 1965. If you accept it as being of that style its on the restrained side but still somewhat earthy and rich with well integrated wood and an almost faint buttery quality. It deserves a try at the very least especially since Traquair decades ago was well ahead of the whole craft beer game.

Walked into a small local liquor store by the gf's house and there was a 6 pack of zombie dust sitting on the shelf that had been bottled the day before! I've had it fresh before but not that fresh.....needless to day it was phenomenal.
