Most of the great bars are downtown. For selection, McNellies is great.

The Fur Shop is also one of my favorites. It has the Lone Wolf food truck outside of it as well, which is amazing. Try the kimchi fries with bacon.

R bar has an outstanding selection. Solid food as well.

    Valkyrie is a cool place.

I'm hoping that the Prairie Brewpub will be my second home, but it is not open yet.

One more... For food, smoke is my favorite restaurant in town. Food is incredible, plus they have Hoptometrist on tap.

^^+1 McNellies is the best value and selection for downtown drinking. Valkyrie is a cool place and will have some pretty good taps (KBS back in July) but they are kind of pricy. Bottle Shops, I have only been to 2, Collins Midtown and Modern Spirits. Collins has Modern beat for selection, but they are better organized. Since I stayed downtown last time there, I used Modern. They will also order anything you request and can usually get it in a couple of days.
Edit: @rboughner is spot on, you need to plan some trips to Cherry Street, great pizza place over there also

Yeah I think the main places have been nailed. Seems like most of the better places to eat, have a few good beer selections. R-Bar is worth a go but their food, I can take or leave. Laffa's & Andolenni's ( sure I butchered the spelling ), also do some great food. Beers are God awful expensive in some eating places, you've been warned...

Andolini's (yeah @russpowell butchered it, I was too lazy to look it up) is very expensive, but found the calzone was the best deal, it was huge

Which part of Tulsa? There is a McNellies at 71st and Yale. Most better bottle shops are in south Tulsa.

I prefer the downtown McNellies & I try my best to avoid that mess near 71st street at all costs.

If you find yourself "stuck" in Broken Arrow and in the need for a "beer fix" without having to drive or catch a ride to T-town then check out Main Street Tavern, The Rooftop &/or Andolini's Pizzeria. They're not overly beer saavy, but they all have a few taps. McNellie's South City's going to be your best location out in South Tulsa. Cheers!
