I like Black Sheep Pizza on Washington. They usually have at least two Surly lines. A few years back I remember I had a Five before a game.

Blacksheep is great, so is Haute Dish for a few more great tap options and killer food!

No, we aren't! We try to fit into anyone's plans for the evening...right now we have Bitter Brewer, Cynic and Furious on tap, plus some other goodies as always. Cheers.

Out of Towner chiming in...Stopped at Mackenzie Pub on Hennepin last visit, was very impressed with tap selection--they had seviin, bells expedition stout and others that were surprising. In my opinion a better beer selection than butcher & the boar which is down the street--or at least when I was there I wasn't wowed by the beer selection, perhaps caught on an off day.

Agree that Haute Dish is not too formal. I've gone several times before and after Twins games. Their tap selection is always fantastic and you can grab a bite to eat from their bar menu.

Runyon's is next to Haute Dish and has a solid selection (can't remember if they have Surly on tap). The wings there are awesome.

Cuzzy's has a few Surlys on tap and always has 2 Hearted.

Black Sheep is a great option for Surly and the pizza is awesome.

I'd agree on your Blacksheep thoughts..no first hand knowledge of the others you mentioned.

Imperial Room has Furious, Two Hearted, several Summit varieties, and best of all $4 large taps until 7:00 (I believe). A good place to grab a good beer cheaply. I'd also throw Pizza Luce in there. A good selection of taps at $2 off until 6:00. All Summit varieties (usually have at least 3) are $3.50 all day on Twins home game days.

Good to hear that, I ate there once and it is such an attractive space, that I would feel like I was being disrespectful walking in there with a Twins cap and a t-shirt.

What does Smack Shack have on tap? You get a lobster roll for $15, a good beer, and ballgame. How do you beat that?
