    Based on your profile:

All of the Dark Horse numbered stouts. One Oatmeal Stout is out now.
    Bell's Expedition Stout
Founders RIS, Porter, and Centennial IPA
    Oddsides Citra Pale
    Greenbush Anger
    Rochester Milk Shake stout

You are from Michigan. Start with Two Hearted, Best Brown, London Porter, Founders Porter, Dirty Bastard, Bellaire Brown, Soft Parade, The Poet, Double Cream Stout, Java Stout, Breakfast Stout, Perkulator Dopplebock, One Oatmeal Stout, Big Red Coq, Farm Hand, Solitude.....

All great Michigan beers without being too hoppy. Start there and report back.

Start with the most popular beers for the styles you like that are available to you.

Drink Local, try new things, drink what you like not what somethings rated.

Seasonal releases are usually good to try because freshness is pretty much guaranteed.
