Good bottle shops around SE N.C.?

    Heading to ocean isle N.C. tomorow morning. Anybody know of any good bottle shops around to get some good craft beers? Most interested in hoppy beers, but looking to try anything I can't get in PA especially cigar city if they distribute that far north?. Good sours would be a plus also!!

    Fermantal and Lighthouse in far-north Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, respectively, are my favorites down there. They're "on the way" sort of, if you want to stray off I40 just a bit. I don't know of any great shops in Brunswick Co. (where you're headed) though. Pretty rural area down there ... but friggin' beautiful!

    EDIT: No Cigar City in NC. I think some stuff makes it to Richmond VA, but nothing in NC. They signed a contract with a craft distributor in NC that went out of business soon afterwards. No news since then.

    There's nothing in the way of a craft beer bottle shop in Ocean Isle. I would suggest either bringing something with you, or find some decent beer at the Lowe's Foods. The selection really isn't bad, and you'll likely find some of the more widespread North Carolina beers from Highland, Mother Earth, Duck-Rabbit, Big Boss, etc.

    Lighthouse is worth stopping. We stopped on the way to North Myrtle Beach.
