I just moved back home to SC from CO a couple months ago. Just wondering if there is any craft beer in the good ol southeast to look forward to. I know Denver probably spoiled me, but I'm looking for any advice. Thanks for the help!

There are alot of good breweries in the Carolinas although North Carolina has us beat by a good bit right now.
South Carolina-- Coast, Holy City and Westbrook are all good. All in Charleston.
North Carolina-- Almost too many to list. Oskar Blues, Mother Earth, NoDa (Alot of others)
Others in the Southeast that are available here are terrapin, highland, sweetwater, and foothills.
there are some really good stores in the Charlotte and Raleigh areas.
Greens and Total wine in Columbia are probably the best stores near you
Our overall distribution is pretty good. CBX and GBX have good online lists and Greens website is good for the stuff on tap

COAST and Westbrook are awesome. I moved to Charleston about 6 months ago and have been pleasantly surprised by the selection (also pretty much everything we get is available. Not like you have to follow trucks around town to grab stuff up). Its certainly not Denver, which in my experience is one of the headiest beer cities in the country, but you could be in worse places for craft beer.

Duck-Rabbit out of NC makes some great brews. Terrapin, Highland, Sweetwater. I live in GA and most of these are readily available in my area.
