    Hey all,

I just started getting into more esoteric beers recently, and I've really enjoyed the couple of coffee-centric beers I've had (Bell's Java Stout, Dominion Morning Glory Espresso Stout). I've heard awesome things about the Six Points 3Beans Porter, and the Rise Up Stout, but I was wondering if some of the more veteran BA'ers had some suggestions of beers to keep an eye out for. I'm an espresso junkie, so the more intense varieties shouldn't be a stumbling block to my palate.

    Thanks in advance!

This. If you pour it into a small espresso cup and sat it next to a shot of espresso in the same cup you'd be hard pressed to spot the difference visually. My favorite coffee beer hands down.

If you find that you enjoy barrel-aged coffee stouts, Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout and Kentucky Breakfast Stout are two that you need to try.

As was mentioned, Coffee Bender is the ultimate coffee beer to me. Other than that, two very coffee-forward beers that were not mentioned (and are both distributed in DC) are Epic Big Bad Baptist and Evolution Rise Up Stout.

You're in DC, so you should be able to find Evolution Rise Up Stout. It's not a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, but it's pretty damn good for what it is.

Rise Up Coffee is damn good, if you're ever on your way to any MD/DE beaches.

I know for MA, Berkshire's Coffeehouse Porter is great, coffee-laden and easily available.

Oak Aged Esspresso Yeti has already been mentioned, but I couldn't agree more. My favorite coffee beer hands down... A less expensive coffee beer that I'm a fan of is Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout. Other great coffee beers are FBS, Victory at Sea (must get if you can) and BCBCS

Yeah, I saw a couple packs of Rise Up at the store where I got some Dominion Morning Glory earlier this afternoon (on my second one of those right now; really drinkable, and hides its 9% obscenely well). I'll definitely be looking to grab some of the Rise Up as soon as this sixer is done.

And huge thanks to everyone for all of the recommendations! Looks like I have quite the list to work through, but I'll definitely try to get my hands on the Firestone Yeti. That sounds amazing.

And if you got or ever get your hands on KBS, don't even try it! It's so freakin terrible. Just send it my way and I'll properly dispose of it for you.. No one should have to endure that kind of beer, but as generous as I am, I'll gladly take the hit for you..
