If you're in the mood for something a little bit sweeter, check out Flying Dog Kujo Imperial Coffee Stout. I find it to be quite delicious.

I would go with pisgah valdez and CCB cubano as two of my favorites

BCBS and Founders Breakfast Stout are my favorites. I am currently drinking a Dayman's Coffee IPA...I had reservations but this is very impressive! If you're a coffee lover and a beer lover then you will enjoy Dayman's. I love Lagunitas but their Cappuccino Stout isn't my favorite.

If you can trade for it or make a trip when it's available, Twilight of the Idols is awesome. Otherwise, Victory at Sea, Speedway Stout, Peche Mortel, New Belgium Coffee Chocolate Stout, Lagunitas Cappucino Stout are all good readily available beers

Trade for perennials BA Sump, you won't regret it, unless you don't like coffee

I'll second Ballast Point Victory at Sea.......and it's an imperial porter to boot. I was blown away. Just delish.

It's had a couple of mentions so far but I just wanted to give another nod to Wolavers Alta Gracia Coffee Porter. Flies a bit under the radar for coffee beers but it's a damn good coffee beer in a lighter package. I love a nice big coffee stout like Speedway or Breakfast Stout, but sometimes I want the coffee beer without the big impy stout. At 5% ABV, Alta Gracia serves this purpose well.

Agreed. Going through this thread I was as surprised as you were that no one had mentioned this delicious beer. I had my first last night and I thought it was outstanding. Right off the bat it's like freshly brewed coffee and it continues until the end. I also agree that it works fantastically with the IPA traits. A perfect blend. I'm happy I have another bottle left.

Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast / Brunch, Espresso Yeti, Surly Coffee Bender, Founders Breakfast, Terrapin Wake N Bake, Schlafly Raspberry Coffee Stout in no particular order. I have a Bourbon County Coffee but haven't tried it yet. Love the coffee stouts.

    From the Mid-Atlantic region:

    Evolution Rise Up Stout
    Spring House Planet Bean

Those are probably the best made, available bottles from the area.

    Meantime - Coffee Porter
    Peak Organic - Espresso Amber

I love these two because the malt body is subtle enough to really let the coffee shine. To me, they are true coffee beers, as opposed to beers with coffee in it. A lot of big coffee stouts get really muddy and confused.

Harpoon - 100 BBl Series Coffee Stout
Big Boss - Aces and Eights
    Rouge - Mocha
Peak Organic - Mocha Oak Aged Stout

These four are bigger, darker, sweeter beers, more typical of coffee beers in the US, which I enjoy.

I see Founders Breakfast Stout being one of the most popular beers in the coming years. Since it will now be 10$ for a 6 pack when it's released this September. That's such a fantastic price for the quality
