Hi all, any good suggestions for downtown Las Vegas to get some good beers? Even breweries that are open to have a drink would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm in Vegas now. So far the places I've been (note I'm from the Cincinnati area so selection is in comparison): -Yard House: great food (spicy thai chicken), good beer selection -Pour 24: good selection. I had Ranger IPA and Shakespeare Stout. Get there before 2pm for $5 pints -Nine Fine Irishmen: didn't go there, but $5 pints before 5pm -Whole Foods Market: great selection of singles and six packs. Bought $75 worth of stuff I can't get in the midwest and there's more i could go back for. in Las Vegas you can walk around with open containers on the street/casinos so stock up in WF and enjoy your stay! -Burger Bar @ Mandalay Bay has one of the best burgers I've ever had plus a great selection of beers. Good beers throughout casion (I'm thinking Deschutes Mirror Pond...) That's it for now after two days here. If any Beer Advocates wanna meet me out on the town send me a BM; I'm here til Saturday!
Destral has posted in another vegas thread the 411 on beer in las vegas. Tomorrow is our beer meetup at Khourys fine wine and spirits in Henderson ! They have la folie on tap for 5 bucks and ruthless rye on tap for 3 bucks! There's also a good selection of beers on the shelf you can drink in store! Starts around 6!
