The wife and I are on a commemorative D-day anniversary trip and will be spending tonight in Caen. I can usually find decent places to grab a beer just by doing a Google search, but was wondering if there's any place in Caen that's particularly outstanding... some place that is a can't miss spot. We're just here for a single night, so there won't be a lot of time for exploring, but it would be great to hang out for a bit after dinner at some cozy place with an interesting local beer selection. Even a spot with a great selection of bottles/cans to go would be a help (as I'm not adverse to hanging out in our hotel room with a nice bottle of local saison or farm ale if that's a possibility). Delirium Cafe Caen, Le Trappist Bar and Brewbar are all located along Quai Vendeuvre. They should be easy to find, and would keep you entertained for a while.
