Does Firestone Walker distribute to PA? If so, Parabola is IMO the best BA imperial stout out there for price, ease to get (at least in Seattle), and for quality.

Not every imperial stout is limited. Storm King is brewed year round, and you're in PA, so go get some. Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, through seasonal, is generally readily available for a few months after it comes out. Ten Fidy generally isn't too hard to find in places where it's distributed, Stone RIS comes out in the Spring I believe and is fairly easy to find, Old Rasputin is brewed year round and is widely available. Yeti is around too. I'm sure there are others that I'm forgetting, but there's no lack of RIS out there.

I really liked Samuel Smith's RIS and Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti. Of course Samuel Smith's should be a much easier find.

Pretty much everything mentioned in this thread is available in PA.Al You really just have to know when and where to look. Also, your state has probably some the of the best distro around. I wouldn't complain too much.

For stuff you might find on the shelf now:
    Storm King
    Ten Fidy
    Old Rasputin
    Southern Tier Blackwater
    Bourbon County
    Black Chocolate
    and a ton of others...

Stone RIS is great for it's price. About $5.99 for a 22oz before tax but it's seasonal. A great year round that is easily available would be North Coast Old Rasputin and that comes in 4 packs for $9 I believe?

Old Rasputin, Storm King, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, Yeti, all were found omly after chasing down and waiting months there making it tough to get not easy to find here in PA.

Really, you can't find Storm King, a year round beer brewed in PA, in PA? I can buy all of those beer at my local supermarket, so it must be a location thing.

verry little beer sales in the grocery stores in PA you have to go to the beer distributor and they carry a
limited # of dark beer let alone stouts.

I see Sam Smith's Imperial Stout in almost every liquor I go into. It's not quite as "big" as some of the other rec's in here, but it's a favorite of mine and generally only $7-8 for a four-pack.
