Good Sours Available in WI

    A Flanders red should not be "amazingly tart," whatever that means. It should be a balance of malty sweet from the young beer and some tartness from the old beer.

    If all your looking for is sour, white distilled vinegar is a hell of a lot cheaper than Bruery beers.

    I've heard Central Waters Peruvian Morning is a solid Wisconsin sour.

    I think the Bruery ones are more like $20. They are all expensive.

    Steve's Junction still has La Folie, Lolita and Oud Tart, and I think Sour in the Rye is still floating around Madison. Duchesse is available in most places, though I haven't had it.

    We're out of Lolita, but still have Halia, Oso Restless Soul, Transatlantique Kriek and Brau Brothers Bancreagie Sour Peated plus a ton of belgian sours. Would be happy to guide the OP through some of them.
