I read the post about 6packs under $8 and saw many folks have a hard time finding beer in this price range. So I'm wondering which stores you favor. Any hidden gems? In my area BevMo has the best selection. But I often find better prices at World Market. Plus if BM is out of stock, WM often is in stock as many people don't realize they sell craft beer.
I paid like 23 bucks for a mix 6 pack from a new bottle shop in town. Thought i might get a discount from the bottle price but nope. Think I'll stick to the Great Lakes 6 pk for 9.99 at the local Giant Eagle.
Holy hell are you getting ripped off. Even at a really bad bottle shop can get a mixed 6 at 2/3 of that price. Most bottle shops will sell me a mix six at under 10 bucks though(but this includes moderately priced beers in the selection).
Wouldn't your location matter the most? In Columbus Weiland's market has an excellent selection, Pace High carryout and Palmer's also are good and all three are similarly priced. There are a couple stores in on 3rd near Grandview ave, Boulevard carryout and Grandview carryout, both good too (Grandview carryout has a bit higher prices than the other 4 I mentioned)
1 Hazed & Infused, 1 Terrapin Hopsecutioner, 1 Raging Bitch, 1 Green Flash palate wrecker, 1 Joe coffee porter, 1 Fort Collins chocolate stout, I think the green flash was like 4 bucks but i forget.
