Good stuff in Cedar Rapids?

    traveling to Cedar Rapids in two weeks for work. I've done my research on which bottle shops and bars to go to but unsure as to what I can buy there that I cannot get in chicago. If I can find some TG that would be cool but looking for other tasty stuff too, mainly sours and stouts. Any help appreciated

    Benz is your best bet in CR for bottles. Not sure if you'll get any TG there, but they have a solid selection. If you have some free time, head south to Iowa City and hit up John's Grocery. They always have some good stuff too. While you're in IC, also make a stop at The Sanctuary for some food and a pint of something tasty.

    Oakland Road Hy Vee is good too. They currently have BOMB! and Christmas BOMB! The might still have some Crooked Stave stuff too. They also still have Smoove Oferator, but it's not that good. I might make it up to Decorah this weekend and could sell you stuff at cost, no Sue right now though.
