Good summer beer?

    If you brewing for other people, especially for a group, I would consider an extract Hefeweizen.

    Saison or Hefeweizen. Can't go wrong with either!

    Currently it's still a pretty intense fermentation. The krausen actually came up into one of the air locks and spilled out a little bit. Hoping I don't get an infection because of that! Going to have about 11.5 gallons if all goes well.

    OG was just a hair lower than the target.

    what is a "belgian single"? never heard that before.

    anyways - i would go for saison. easy to brew, refreshing, dry, yet complex in taste - and its pretty good already a week after bottling.
