Hi Guys that remember me, still going strong since I jumped ship (before being pushed). Found a home on Rate Beer and although I am still on over 3,000 beers on here I've not posted a new beer since mid 2014. Up to 11,000 different brews on Rate Beer.

Hope you are all well and this Covid stuff isn't troubling you too much.

So good to hear from you BH & also even though I would prefer you stayed around on here a bit I am glad you found a home in Ratebeer.

I personally don’t like RB, I’ve seen a lot of mean spirited, overly critical reviews of great small batched beer there, & then taking a look at the poster find they had given big scores to dull macro beers.

knowing that you are over there makes me feel that there is a little counter balance to that.

I’ve signed up as an admin here to try and have a bit more of a say, & contribute here but I do miss those good old days TBH mate.

There are a few saddo's on RateBeer, some good people too, I love the stats on the site and the data base is pretty comprehensive. Met up with a few of the UK RateBeer chaps (plus a European gathering in Barcelona), had some lovely tasting sessions with them. I can't keep up with their pace sometimes, so just plod along on my own.

Pleased to hear you are still drinking and being active as an Admin, my IT skill set is very poor, this prevents me from getting too involved with that sort of stuff. I am however the Town Ale Taster, appointed by the Mayor every year on Charter Day, no power or authority, but the Kudos is good!
