So obviously the bourbon barrel aged thing has took off but what I'm finding I really enjoy are wine barrel aged beers. Such as wilds, sours and saisons. I know some are rare and hard to come by but I'm interested in easier ones to pick up if anyone has recommendations. Thanks!

All amazing. Vinnie is the standard.

Dogfish Head 61 - not technically barrel aged but has Syrah must in it. LOVE THAT BEER.
Nebraska Brewing Company - HopAnomaly Belgian IPA aged in Chardonnay barrels. It's pricey but damn is it not fantastic.

Lune and Terre from Baladin are phenomenal. One's red wine barrel-aged and the other is white wine.

For something a little less known but really darn good, try Brasserie Saint James's 1904. White wine barrel aged funky/tart ale. Really blends the white wine/vinuous barrel notes with the base wild ale well. Wanna say they're only like $12 here in AZ.

Deschutes The Dissident is excellent. Goose Islands Sofie is good too. I did not enjoy Prairies Wine Barrel Noir but I did like Moa's Imperial Stout.

Heavy Seas Uncharted Waters series has a few that are aged in wine barrels that I like a lot. The names are slipping my mind right now, maybe Red Sky at Morning and Phantom....something. They're not always available but when they are they are easy to find and usually $8-$9 a bottle.

    My 2 favorites are:
Bell's Wild One - one of my all time favorites
Paradox Cafe Verdad - This beer is just crazy, but in a good way. Sour, coffee, cinnamon, and red wine. Yet it works somehow.

Odd Side Ales in Grand Haven MI has been experimenting with these as well. Not quite as good as some that have been already listed but they're getting there.
