Hi all, Californian here, first time visiting the Great Lakes region for work. Will be in Ann Arbor for the weekend and was wondering if there are any places y'all would recommend for a drinks and/or bottles to take home for fellow beer pals. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Wish you would have posted before your trip. I would have gladly tried to work out a trade with you for some CA stuff. I have a bottle or two to trade.

I would venture to guess that all the KBS will be gone. The Wine Seller and Plum Market are good places to pick up some bottles. Jolly Pumpkin in downtown AA is a must stop. They are having a limited bottle release this week and will also have other bottles to take home. There are a lot of good spots to eat in AA. Just depends on what you are looking for.

Ashleys has a great tap selection in downtown Ann Arbor. Shorts, Dark Horse, Founders, and Brewery Vivant are all good bets on bottles to take home.If you want to venture 10 minutes away to Ypsilanti, Wurst Bar and Red Rock BBQ both have great tap selections as well.

Jolly Pumpkin is a must, but Arbor Brewing, Blue Tractor, and Grizzly Peak are al within about a two-block radius. Might be worth checking out. Nothing will absolutely blow your mind, but there are a few decent pours at these other brewpubs.
