Thanks. I communicated it 3 minutes after I learned about it. I probably swung by Binny’s LP 5 times in the last month, and knew nothing about it until tonight. #shrug

They are very secretive about this event. It’s weird.

I’ve seen it posted multiple times over the past couple weeks either on social media or email. I think this was the most overt I’ve ever seen them about a BCBS tapping. These used to sell out quickly, whereas this one hung around for weeks and was still available day of.

It was a low key good time. But the 2017 BCS tastes like it was being poured on a line that had just been pouring a hazy IPA.

Admits to knowing about it, but doesn't post about it? Sharing fail.

I also didn’t go to it. There are so many BCBS toppings anyway this year that I feel like it’s overkill most of the time to post about them.

How about this...it seems like all of the Props are still on tap there today. No idea how long they’ll last, though.

They could be giving out free pours of Prop 16 and I wouldn't make the drive

    Yes, this is a thing.

    BCS 14-17, reserve 17, props 16-18 all at 8oz for $8

Or a flight of three 4oz pours for $15 (which is not economical, but the best way to let them warm up and try more, since you can’t order more than one full pour at once.)

On-site bottles - bramble 18 and prop 18 for $35 each for those keeping track at home. 17 BW and BCS bottles for $18 each.

This is the most helpful I will be for the next 47 hours. You’re welcome.

Yeah, I got a free cuvee pour of prop 17 & coffee 16 as a consolation prize. It was a nice banana bread breakfast.

Anyone have insight into how many tickets were sold for GI Stoutfest? Those who went last year, how were the crowds for pours?

Had no trouble getting pours of most everything I’d wanted. It was a little tight in some spots, but I thought it was easier to navigate overall than in previous years. Longest wait was for seats to order lunch.

Surprised people aren’t sounding off on Fulton. Regal Rye on tap, as well as the “small batch Barrel House Exclusive” Rumba, rum barrel-aged imperial stout in hand-selected rum barrels (6oz for $12).

New dry hopped ipa called dank detector (strata / meridian).

Can also get wheatwine and coffee bw to go for $20, bramble & orange for $30, vanilla $45.

    2. Free chips when you flash your MBA, hope the MBA perks continue.

    Cheers.
