Both Fulton and salt shed have released a single barrel BCBS on Oznr recently and it has sold out in about 3 seconds. Any one have any idea of how many of these were bottled? Or if any of them will be available in the taprooms on draft or to purchase?
Each were true single barrels so not much to go around a couple hundred perhaps. Also they allowed proxies so you had people all over the country ordering, hence the instant sellout.
I’m all for proxies but I wish for something small like this they did not allow them. Would have benefited the locals.
Jewel in PR has prop for $18, cherries and praline for $14 and both reserves for $20 if anyone looking
Once these sales hit BCBS do they stay at those prices until it's gone for good or is it a timed sale that expires? And do the reserves tend to go fast or hang out for a bit? I think I'll be down that way but not until next week and would love another bottle of the double barrel which is why I ask. TIA!
Should be added that not all Jewels do the same discounts, nor do they all stock BCBS variants. Gotta seek out the sale stores.
Good call. Two separate stores, Skokie and Green Bay Road had different sales. Managed to get 2 bottles of Parker’s at Skokie for 19.99, but GB road still had the previous sale (31.99) but all of the variants.
Anyone had a prop 23 lately? That one has been one of my recent favorites fresh. Had one tonight and getting sour vibes. Just curious if it's just a 1-off bad bottle, bad palate night, or if anyone else noticing similar.
Anyone think the Prop will eventually hit mass distribution? I feel like they're going to do it within the next 5 years to keep interest up. That $18 price tag mentioned above has me very interested...
I didn’t buy any BCBS this year outside of a draft tasting, but I did get the Beer on the Wall Single Barrel Select - anyone else get it? Also got a Shamrock Stout and the new DFH WWS
