Goose Island 26th Anniversary Party

    Looks like it's going to be on May 13th, from 6pm to 10pm.

    Confirmed tappings are Madame Rose and The Ogden.

    Source? Well i don't think it's public yet per se, but the chalkboard sign just went up at the pub today.
    Ticket proceeds will be going to a charity. Not sure when they are on sale. That is all i have for now.

    has the pub been closed during the whole construction? i thought it was the dining area. i haven't been there in a little bit, sorry. the reason i know this is because a friend did the design and happen to show me today.

    Taproom and kitchen have been open. Big room up front where the tasting events took place along with all that unused space to the right of the entrance and the desk with merch and expensive bottles of old Pepe Nero has been closed down during the remodel.

    Does anyone know what time tickets go on sale? Their Facebook page just says they go on sale Friday, April 25th. If it's as good as their 25th anniversary event, it will be a good one!

    Hard to get excited over those bottles, for sale, at we can only assume inflated prices.

    Though, that dude is awesome and is worth going to GI Clybourn just to say whatsup to him.

    I'd pay up to 50 for the vanilla, prop or the '09 any day just for the sheer convenience. Otherwise I'm going to pay about 20 in shipping and trade away top shelf to get those.
