It hit capacity both nights last year around 7:30 or 8.

 

Idk. I feel like we have always gone well after open and walked right in. it is a really free flowing event. people coming and going pretty constantly

 

No need to line up early or anything. But definitely go before 7. $10 for great bands and $3 beers brings out everyone

 

I know it says children not encouraged but how strict do they enforce this? I'd like to go tonight with the wife and my well behaved 7 year old daughter.

 

They don't enforce it. Just be cool about it.

 

I just assumed it was 21+ only. I have a 7 year old and can’t imagine a scenario where I’d take her.

But, I don’t know how they really enforce it.

 

The site says "Dogs and Children not encouraged". There is nothing to enforce. Unless it's a staff member following one around repeatedly saying, 'hey, we don't encourage dogs and children."

 

They say that cause it all honesty it gets pretty rowdy and crowded. Not somewhere I would bring a dog or child, unless you leave kinda early.

 

Yeah, last year, a random dude almost got in a fight with my coworker - people start losing control worth the amount of BA goodness flowing at $3 a pop...

One of the best parties of the year but I’m at the other best beer party of the year. So have fun without me.

 

Really looking forward to this year especially because it's not going to be in the 90s like it was last year.

Went to block party. Long line to get in. Fire marshal came and said no more people. Never got in. Drinking whiskey at Sporty’s in front of a fire before show at Empty Bottle. Feel like I won somehow.
