Picked up a 6 pack of both 312 and IPA today. Honker's Ale and Summertime were also available.

Yeah, I know, they're just delicious, easily obtainable beers. Nothing anyone here cares about.

Delicious might be stretching it a bit on some of those (or all of them).

If only they had come before they sold out. And if only they had a good, year-round beer outside of Sofie.

Get all of your craft-beer interested friends to buy Goose Island 312 and honkers. Buy plenty of summertime for lawnmower beer. Make your own randall and hop up the IPA to acceptable levels. If you want to see BCBS this year, those regular bottles need to move Move MOVE!

I asked about that at the Raleigh Rare and Vintage tasting. The person who was pouring the BCBS said it wouldn't be this year and he seemed pretty firm about it.

Bummer ... I like several other of their brews as well (the Belgians mostly) ... wonder if any of them will make it here any time soon. If I had to guess, I'd say we're only seeing what ABInbev took over. The stuff still being brewed only at GI is probably not coming any time soon.

Yeah I didn't want to say any further because I am a bit hazy on this point (this was near the end of the festival after many beers) but I feel like he also mentioned some really far out date, like not even next year.

I know what you mean about the hazy part. That was one more awesome beer fest!

We only get stuff brewed in Baldwinsville NY at the AB plant. I've heard 6 months until the vintage line (belgians) are down here and 6 months after that the BCS line. This doesn't include festivals and special events though only retail availability.

the IPA is the best of them, and Honkers is drinkable. Now Bull City Dr. Bartlett's is a much better example of the style if you ask me.

I've had them on tap, and they're ok, can't say I'm all that excited.
