Does anyone know what I can expect to pay for a four pack of BCBS, BCBBW, and BCBCS on Black Friday? I'm in the Southeast VA area and I have no idea what to expect price wise. i just picked up a bottle of Avery's Tweak today and the price kinda scared me.

Last year I think I paid $20/4 pack of regular BCBS and BCBBW and $24/4 pack of BCBCS in Harrisonburg, VA.

Depending on who and where, it probably ranges between $20-30/4 pack

I'm told that this year the MSRP has increased from $22 to $27 per four pack and from $20 to $27 per bomber; so while price varies per area, expect a $5-7 jump from last year.

Last year in West/Central Illinois I paid between $18-20 for a four-pack of BCBS. Totally worth it and will be more than willing to do so this year.

This all but confirmed. I'm hearing $26.99 per item will be the most likely price in the Chicago area. I'm sure you can expect higher prices in NY/LA/similar markets. @Vav is my source.

Based on what I hear Virginia's allocation will be... Ignore the price. Haha

Not sure how this happens, it is illegal for GI or the distributor to price the beer. It is 100% up to the store and anything they try to do to impact the price is illegal. Its shady. Local store had a distributor threaten to pick up their product if they didnt raise the price, this is 100% illegal and it did not happen,

worth noting i am basing this on my knowledge of NE state laws, however, I was told by above mentioned manager it is larger than state wide

It was 20 bucks per 4 pack at most places here in Rhode Island. Some places had it for 25. Hearing that RI is only getting the original Bourbon County and the Barleywine and nothing else, which kinda makes me hate Goose Island. Especially because I can't see myself paying 27 bucks for a 4 pack.

Sorry if I'm missing the joke, but what is going on with our allocation?

I wish there was because when I go to the beer dealership I would try to talk them down to 20 bucks.

    Yes there can.

The brewery can suggest it. But just like in anything besides federally regulated items like milk, the stores can ignore it.

I just heard Virginia's overall allocation is going to be a lot lower than expected, and lower than last year. This may not be true for SE VA of course. Northern VA is going from around 350 cases to 80 this year. Hopefully it's bountiful in your neck of the woods!

Ouch! I've talked to a couple of shops and they seemed to think that they would get a good amount. As much as I'd like to get a bomber of Vanilla Rye I'd be happy if I could just get a four pack of each of the others. My fingers are crossed!

Where in NOVA do you shop mostly? I only ask because I spend quite a lot of time up there and frequent Norm's in Vienna whenever I'm in town. I'm always looking for new bottle shops to check out.

I usually shop at Dominion Beer and Wine in Falls Church, but frequent Norms occasionally. I think they're only getting a few cases too, and only one case of an unknown variant.. I'd guess coffee but who knows

Thanks for the info. I'll actually be visiting the DC area from Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and need to know some spots where I can pick it up.
