It's a beer that's fairly easy to trade for. I even got one as an extra!

I'm not hunting this one. I'm expecting to pick up a 25 dollar pour at Groveland Tap in the near future.

Falls sold out in a matter of minutes. I was there 30 minutes after their tweet went out. Pretty bummed with GI and will definitely not be trading for any. Best of luck hunting.

Elevated sold there last one around 12:45 to a beer delivery truck driver right in front of me (he might have snagged quite a few on his rounds today)... so close. He declined my offer to split it and drink it in the parking lot.

Why are people still surprised when a store gets 12 bottles of limited release beer and it is gone in an hour? Yes it sucks if you have to work and can't get there, yes it sucks if the truck chasers get it all. But surprise shouldn't be one of the things we are feeling now.

When it comes to a release this limited I simply assume I'll miss out and if by off chance I get randomly luck into one being the right place at the right time I'm extremely happy rather than the expecting to land it and more than likely being disapointed.

I got a Backyard in a trade and loved it. A year ago I would have been hunting it down like my first grader son does Easter Eggs. Not playing that game anymore.

I ended up trading for all the variants after giving up trying to hunt those bad boys down. I definitely will do the same next year. I'm not built for this delivery truck/twitter following.

Why the scattered release dates of some of these GI BCB variants? Specifically the Backyard? Just trying to get my finger on the pulse of this one...
