    Brewer's Notes:

At Goose Island our brewers take every opportunity to experiment with new ingredients and aging techniques. For this edition of Bourbon County Brand Stout, they aged the classic recipe in rye whiskey barrels with raspberries and blackberries from Michigan. The result is a powerfully rich beer with notes of tart fruit and jam that fade into the warm spice of a fine rye whiskey.

    International Bitterness Units: 60

Yeh I haven't seen it anywhere though and judging from the fact that 78 people reviewed it I wonder if there has been a shipping delay or if the distribution is just super small. Coffee had an extremely small distribution and I still procured 3 bottles in nyc, but haven't heard a damn thing about bramble

^Bramble has already been through NYC. Smaller allotment than Coffee as far as I know.

It's pretty damn good. Tastes like a chocolate covered raspberry.

did this just get distributed out of the midwest? i know i picked some up a couple of months ago, yeah? i got one in the fridge, waiting to try fresh, aging the rest. i hear aging could be better as it's really fruity. Coffee was fantastic.

There was plenty of it around Chicago . It's was a very good brew. I cracked one bottle and liked it very much, but I generally don't review something until I've had it at least twice (usually). I have a few left, and plan on cracking another very soon. The other two I plan to age further. I have a feeling this is going brew is going to get better with age.

I actually preferred Bramble to all other BCBS variations at a recent tasting (including vanilla coffee & rare). Wasn't expecting that.

I've only ever had the Coffee and Bramble, and I actually much preferred the Bramble.
