Is the one best fresh or can it actually be cellared as the label on the bottle claims?

In the past six moths I've had my last two bottles of '09, and while the were not better, they were still good in different ways.

I had a 2009 at Christmas and have one more in the cellar. Didn't seem to change a whole lot over the years, but definitely still drinkable. I threw my last 2011 in the cellar for kicks.

agreed. late last year, i found some 09 bottles. hanged on to em for a few months, had one. was really tasty. i think it pretty much tasted the same as current. so if u want to age. sure, but like he said, drinkable.

I have been drinking a one from an '07 6 pack every Christmas. I am down to one or two. To be honest, not a whole lot changes over the years.

I had both this past winter, and I thought the 09 bombers were much better than the 2011 4packs. I'm looking forward to aging the newest batch for a year or 2.

I found a 4 pack of the 2011 on sale for $6.50 the other day, so I grabbed it strictly to test the "will develop in the bottle for up to 5 years" claim. I thought it was a decent brown, but not worth the high price tag, and this price cut was a welcome development.
