Seems like their web site is always playing catch-up. There's nothing on it about the Spaten-Goose Keller Märzen collaboration either -- might have to look at their Twitter feed.

12 pk of sierra nevada around here is $20 bucks so if i find this for less than that im grabbing it. The only cheaper 12 packs are Saranac even at 18 a pop

I believe it was posted in the best Okto of 2017 thread, but it's also in the Germany forum under the American Beer thread.

Jesus. Those distributors are taking a nice slice, eh? I often get my SN 12 pks for $12.49-12.99 around here.

I guess so. Its also a vacation area where i live so prices jump for everything. I paid almost 8 bucks for two slices of pizza today. You kind of get used to it. When i travel and really see prices im shocked how low they are.

Should start titling these threads, "New beer out, how much is it in your town?"

Its $13.99 here. On par with most variety packs from the larger craft breweries.

Coywolf is an "English Dark Mild Ale" which I never heard of before. Looked up the other beers in that style and saw Goose Mild Winter so maybe this is the same beer just repackaged. Also saw Sam Adams Ruby Mild which I dont even remember having or when it was sold. Cigar City even made one of these but it wasnt popular and only has like 60 reviews. Yard's Brewing has the most popular one on this site but sorry to say I know nothing about that brewery.

Not since they had to do some housecleaning after the second year with infection...

English Dark Mild is a great traditional style - go find it on cask somewhere! Don't worry at BA scores - people don't know a good style unless it has lactose, mango or some new hop only 6 people heard of. Makes me want to pick up this variety pack if I ever found it.

@DarkDragon999 , on this site coywolf is listed as English dark mild ale, but if you zoom in on the picture at the top of this thread, the box says dark IPA. So who knows?

We have 24 packs at Sam's Club in southern Indiana for less than $24. This would be a pretty good deal to fill the fridge if it wasn't already full of Oktoberfests.

Looks like these "Goose Employee" beers are likely brewed by employees of Anheuser-Busch's "macro" breweries in NY and NH.

Yeah, there is some pretty considerable real estate between a Dark IPA and an English Mild...really not similar at all. Besides, at 5.8% abv it is a bit high for a Mild.

And the label itself says only "Uniquely Hopped Ale":

Note, too: "Contains wheat" on the rear label.

The keg label's COLA (but not this bottle COLA) also states: "THIS PRODUCT MUST BE MADE FROM A FERMENTABLE BASE THAT CONSISTS OF AT LEAST 25% BY WEIGHT MALTED WHEAT" - which would be the case if it was specially labeled a "Wheat beer/ale" but that could just be a clerical error on the TTB or AB's part and the wheat adjunct is under 25%?

Pretty ironic to market these with 'Employee Only' and 'Approved for Resale' after AB just laid off 400 people.
