Because the beer is coming to NC and being used to usurp actual independent craft. The beer quality is immaterial, a dime in InBev's pocket is one too many. Amazed how many people I know wouldn't shop at Walmart but have zero issue buying AB products.

 

GI also brews many beers rated exceptional or better which are all are brewed in the USA. A lot of people don't buy stuff at Walmart because of "Made in China" crap that Walmart carries. GI may be mass produced but you can't make issues with the quality of the brews (at least for now).

 

I would like to point out that if Budweiser/Bud Light was 100 on BA, we'd probably be living in an alternate reality where we all drink with our posteriors, a cat is President, and grass is orange.

PS: Can't wait to buy GI's Vintage series here in TX.

 

There's an interesting conversation to be had here. My take is we are getting the core brands, and equal to better alternatives are on the shelves here in all GI styles. A-B has worked specifically to limit our craft beer choices on shelves, which goes directly against what I want as a consumer, so I will not help them be successful.

 

I'd be shocked beyond belief if we get a sniff at any BCBS bottles, maybe a rare keg or two but you never know, here is hoping

 

From the rep in Orlando, bcbs will be in the market in mid December. The 22oz we won't see until late next year

Since when does riverside have taps?

 

They just recently got 5-7 taps I believe. The GI taps would be IPA, Winter and Honkers I think
