Goose Island Tap Takeover Exton PA

    Was anyone planning on going to the GI tap takeover at the Pour House in Exton on 1/6? They originally posted this flyer

    but suddenly changed it today to only regular and coffee. Anyone have any insight? Seems like a bait and switch to me

    Not really sure what deal was, but i have heard from plenty of places that thought they were getting something and then it fell through. Could just be a case of that.

    A few weeks ago I saw the event on Phillytapfinder. It only advertised the Coffee and Regular. Seems like our area got duped on a lot of Goose Island stuff.

    I just called them and they said their distributor screwed them basically. Still sucks

    I figured it was too good to be true, but Philly did get a keg during Philly Beer Week last year, so I thought there might have been a chance

    Would have been all over that for the Vanilla Rye and Prop. Not worth going for the coffee and reg.

    Yeah, I saw their instagram post just listing coffee. I would have left work early to get there at 445 for Prop.

    Penn has Philly and Chester county. I'm pretty sure Gretz is Del county, Bucks and Montco. (Possibly some others too).

    IMO: One of the (few) downsides to being a craft beer lover is dealing with less-than-savory beer distributors. No names mentioned:wink:
