Is Lolita long gone or can you still find bottles? Nice to hear that Goose Island is quadrupling their barrel program. They are filling 900 barrels with Lolita over the next 3 months according to Beernews.org (Beerpulse)

What about Matilda, is she like the ugly step sister or something?

Matilda is not one of the limited sours. It is a saison with a minimal amount of brett, but is available year round. The lolita, juliet, and madame rose are the classy, reserved, shy, refined sisters. Matilda is the floozy step sister. She is lots of fun, goes out more, and is kind of easy.

Thanks for the info! I've been informed and entertained all at once.

Do we even want to know how Sofie fits in? A little more bubbly, maybe?

And how does Dominique fit in? Matilda in about 30 years when her liver is well-soaked with booze?

Brilliant! I was trying to add to this, but it stands on its own. Well done.

If anyone is interested, Lush on Chicago has 3 packs of 2010 Lolita, Juliet and Madame Rose for about 80 dollars. I bought one the other week and am waiting for a good time to open those.

No shit, I know a place that has plenty of Madame Rose and Juliet left on the shelf.
I'm not 100% sure but I thought I saw a few bottles of 2010 Lolita at another store.
There are still a few beer stores on Long Island that get good beer but have no idea what it is.
They look at you like you're weird when you buy or ask for something other than BMC. I got 3 - 4 packs of 2011 BCBS for $19 each from a place that got a single case. I went back the following week for more but it was gone and the guy says, "is that 'swanky' beer really that good that 4 of 'em cost more than a 30 pack of Busch?"
I love going there from time to time just to see what they may have.

I love Lush but their "gift packs" are marked up far too high.

Matilda isn't a saison, it's a Belgian Strong Pale. Sofie is the saison.
