    I vaguely recall (or maybe it was just my imagination) that Goose Island had a very intricate and detailed (almost novelized or story-like) description of how they brewed Rare this past release. I can't find it on their website. Instead what I found was this:

    http://www.gooseisland.com/showBeer.html?name=rare-bourbon-county-brand-stout

    Does anyone know what I am talking about? I tried finding the cached version of the release details, but couldn't find anything except this.

    That's pretty cool actually. I was looking for a Rare story though, not regular BCBS (and it was just a website text story, not video). But I am going to look around for a Rare video story. Thats even cooler!!

    I like this guy's enthusiasm. And if you're looking for a "Rare" video its the last 10 or so minutes of the video above.

    My bad. I quickly skimmed through it and must have missed it.

    That video was released in 10 minute parts leading up to the release of BCBS last year. Each part was accompanied by an article, here is the article about Rare that went along with the video;

    Edit: BA has banned this site b/c they (the site in question) used to advertise in the BA Magazine, until BA found out that they are in fact paid consultants and one of their clients is Goose Island, BA thought that was a conflict of interest, so banned.

    Google "grit and grain the final chapter" and it will come up.

    Any chance the GI marketing team will release an epilogue to Grain & Grit titled "Target Character Drift"? :wink:
