How do you know if you are on the bad trader list? I wanted to trade fro HT and got crickets. . .am I on the list? Am I a bad trader? Bro?

 

It's pretty simple - like everything in life, just don't be a dick.

I've done it a few times, and I've had people do it for me a few times. Nothing at all wrong with doing a favor for somebody. I wouldn't even blink if a past trade partner or other vet asked me. The only issue I have is people who outright expect it, don't even sound the least bit appreciative, and then get feisty when you try to explain to them why you can't do it.

 

I would never ask. If one of my regular trade partner offers I would probably accecpt, but only if offered.

I would trustee for folks that I don't even trade with. A good example is the up coming Hill Farmstead offering.
If someone from 1000 plus miles away needed help, you betcha, after all, kind souls trustee for me.

thats called being a great beeradvocate. Technically you were still doing it for a friend even if it was for his friend of a friend. lol. I was talking about a complete stranger that expects you to goandpickitupformebro; for example some randow person with unrealistic expectations or is just an idiot. lol.

 

It started becoming mock-worthy when the shit leaked out of the trading forum and infecting the regional forums. Now I can pretty much guarantee that every single release thread in the PNW forum will have at least a couple of posts asking people to go and buy it for them or trying to set up trades in the middle of a discussion thread.

If we wanted to trade, we'd making a god damn post about it in the trading forum.
